guggenheim began trading on the 24th November 2003. The location we have choosen represents quality and style. The Wintergarden Shopping Centre is in the heart of the Queen St Mall, Brisbane CBD and has for 15 years held a reputation and established itself as a premier fashion destination.
The consumer who visits the Wintergarden is interested in their own personal style, they enjoy good quality fashion, urban life, good food and music.
The way the salon presents has been an important aspect in the way our marketing strategy was developed. It was very important that the use of colour and spatial dimensions allow the consumer a feeling of welcome, comfort and style.
Our competitive advantage is quite simply, our service! Our staff are trained to perform like stewards when you fly first class, and every client is treated like they are the only person in the salon!
We believe people purchase ‘an experience’, so when you come to guggenheim, it is much more than just a hair cut!
When you enter guggenheim, you are greeted with fabulous imagery, and a welcoming smile from the person who greets you at the counter. You are directed to a private locker room and you are assigned a key and asked to put on a clean robe.
You put your belongings away safely. Someone is waiting outside the room and warmly directs you to a beautiful luxury chair in front of a gently lit mirror. You notice that the music is exactly what you would choose to listen to at this time of day. The magazines in front of you are new, and exactly what you would choose to read.
There is a glass of fresh cold water in a lovely glass at the station where you site. (What you don’t know yet is that the highly trained staff have noticed you arrival, and selected your reading material, and prepared a station for you.)
Suddenly, a discreet staff member puts a small dish of refreshing sorbet in front of you, for your pleasure and refreshment. It’s just what you need after getting out the hectic Queen Street Mall. You start to look around you and notice that the salon is very clean, and every piece of furniture around you was extraordinary in it’s inconspicuousness, but the detail and aesthetic have suddenly become fascinating.
